Dr. Courtney Wiseman, Board-Certified Psychiatrist, expertly treats psychiatric disorders for patients over the age of 18. Dr. Wiseman received BA from University of Notre Dame and an MD from Georgetown University. She completed her residency in psychiatry at University of Illinois, Chicago while simultaneously earning an MA in public health at University of Chicago. Following her residency, she moved to Boston to become the attending psychiatrist at Cambridge Hospital. Other accomplishments include an instructor position at Harvard Medical School where she was awarded a Miles Shore Research Grant to study how physicians in different practice settings manage chronic mental illness. After moving to Chicago, Dr. Wiseman served as a consult-liaison psychiatrist and provided supervision to psychiatry residents at Northwestern University. She also treated patients at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and managed a private practice. Dr. Wiseman is dedicated to her clients’ well-being and ready to help you achieve your treatment goals. “I’m here to help you better manage day-to-day life,” she states. “Edgewood offers the treatment you need to put you in a better place.”
