What should a new client know about working with you?

I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings—from inpatient psychiatry to emergency rooms—and have maintained a busy private practice in New York for nearly two decades.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, I conduct a thorough evaluation that includes your current symptoms, medical history, past treatments, and any life stressors that may be impacting your mental health. This helps me develop an accurate diagnosis and a treatment plan tailored to your needs. I take time to explain the options, whether that involves medication, supportive talk therapy, or a combination of both. Follow-up sessions are typically focused on monitoring progress, adjusting medications if needed, and offering therapeutic support. While I don't provide long-term psychotherapy, I do incorporate elements of talk therapy into our visits and strongly believe in listening carefully and engaging meaningfully with each patient.
