Had booked an appointment but was told by receptionist that there was a wait. Pleasantly surprised to be seen within ten minutes.
Staff was really amazing. They were friendly and courteous. Michelle, who took my vitals an info was excellent. The young man who drew my blood was excellent. One stick and no pain. X-ray tech helpful and courteous.
M. D, was thoughtful and informed and grasped my issues and complications. Really listened to my concerns.
Really very surprised at the professionalism of the whole process.

Scheduling my appointment went smoothly online. Unfortunately, had to wait 1-1/4 hours to get into the examination room with about 25 people in the waiting room. Then had to wait another hour to see the doctor who only took about 5 minutes to see me. I thought he rushed the exam. I understand they were very busy, but wished he would have spent more time with me.

My first time making an appointment at Crystal Run Urgent Care in Newburgh. When I arrived, I advised that I had an appointment at 1:30. She advised that she is checking me in and advising Urgent Care that I was there oh and there may be a delay, due to short staff and abundance of patients. But she felt the wait would not be too long.
This was actually what I was afraid of, that the appointment meant nothing..
But I say, I was pleasantly surprised. Within a very short time, they called my name and I was seen immediately for vitals, moved to a secondary area and after again a short wait I was seen, and released with instructions for medication being processed at my pharmacy.
It was great, because I was feeling pretty crappy and so glad to not have to spend hours there.

The physician I saw, Dr. Otto, was really great. Caring, listened, very sympathetic. The wait time was horrible though despite having made an appointment. Yes, I could have going to my pcp for this, but she had no immediate appointments so I was forced to go to Urgent Care.
