I am Cynthia Oputa, a dual-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP-BC). I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and other mental health concerns. Many of my clients seek clarity, symptom relief, improved coping skills, and greater emotional balance. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's needs, helping clients build resilience, improve daily functioning, and achieve their personal wellness goals. MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.
