He has won numerous awards including the Ester Mandelker Excellence in Psychotherapy award and was a Health Care Heroes Finalist for the Pittsburgh Business Times. He practices from the standpoint of collaborative treatment with parents and children or teens themselves. He believes that if given the right information parents can make appropriate decisions regarding the well being of their children.
