“Dr. Ellis and her staff were simply amazing. I explained what I believed to be my issues to the staff member and within 2 minutes Dr. Ellis was examining my skin condition. She diagnosed me and gave me 2 different prescriptions that were filled by the time I drove by the pharmacy. I am now @ 30 hours post my appointment and the skin condition is @ 75% cleared up. My diagnosis by Dr. Ellis was “spot on” and her treatment was exactly what I needed. I would recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone who has a need for a dermatologist for any type of skin condition as well as a pre-screening for anything especially for skin cancer. Her staff and the doctor had an excellent understanding of my condition and their bedside manner made me at ease right from the beginning of my visit. They all get an A+ grade from me and I will return for a follow up. ?? SINCERELY THANK YOU ??”

About Dana Ellis
Dr. Ellis graduated first in her class at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2012 and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology. Dr. Ellis received advanced training in pediatric dermatology, psoriasis and autoimmune/connective tissue diseases. She's also an expert in conditions in skin of color and cosmetics.
When asked why she loves being a dermatologist, Dr. Ellis says “Dermatology appeals to me because it’s visual. For most diagnosis . . . all we need is our eyes, hands and mind. The skin is a window into our internal health!”
In addition to being a world-class dermatologist, Dr. Ellis is also a former Olympic athlete. She competed in the 2004 Athens Olympics in Women's Pole Vault. Her Olympic focus and commitment to excellence is the perfect match to our founding principles.

After two appointments, I left this practice at the urging of my specialist and pharmacist.
Dr. Ellis prescribed a high-risk medication but didn’t arrange required bi-weekly bloodwork or blood pressure monitoring. She also sent an organ-transplant prescription rather than the dermatologic formulation. An on-call PA corrected it but prescribed a higher dose despite my shocked pharmacist warning him it was unsafe. The issue was never rectified.
When my specialist reported abnormal bloodwork after I began the medication, the office never responded.
Communication was impossible: it took dozens of calls for a referral, yet incorrect paperwork was still sent. Staff frequently failed to document calls or follow up, sent wrong information to my insurance, the patient portal didn't function, and an emergency appointment was cancelled same day.
My records claim I was told about the medication risks and bloodwork was reviewed with me, but neither happened.
I can’t recommend this practice.
