Dr. Roper received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado. She completed her internship and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Roper has practiced in Denver for more than 15 years. She provides a full range of obstetrics and gynecology care, offering services in preventive healthcare, early evaluation of infertility, pregnancy-including high-risk care-and gynecologic services. She also offers minimally invasive surgical services for patients who qualify, including robotic-assisted surgery for the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and hysterectomy.
Dr. Roper is a teacher at heart and loves to help women of all ages understand how their bodies work. She truly enjoys performing surgery and is pleased by the outcomes and recovery rates from robotic procedures.
Born and raised in Denver, Dr. Roper is active in the community, working with local charities and supporting international mission work. She enjoys tennis, photography, and reading.

She is such an amazing doctor. One of the best experience I’ve had as a grown woman there are so many things that happened to women in life, and I felt so comfortable and open to ask questions the dumb questions, the weird questions this doctor has made me very comfortable and I will continue to make her my primary OB/GYN and I do refer any other African-American woman to go and see this doctor because she definitely understands the struggles and fears of black women in the medical field

I recently moved to Denver and am in the process of finding new doctors for EVERYTHING. I was really pleased with my experience with SCL Health Medical Group and definitely plan to continue to see them for my OBGYN needs. I was not seen by Dr. Roper-Cooper, but by another staff member—Brenda Kluherz, NP. Brenda was amazing and really made me feel welcomed and supported.
