Hi there, I'm Daniel!
My name is Daniel Chandler. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. I specialize in psychotherapy and medication management for those who want to improve their mental health and well-being. I want to help you find the right medication regimen at the lowest dose that works for you.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and compassion focused. I use motivational interviewing, combined with supportive care, to address all of your goals.
My focus
I welcome clients of diverse backgrounds, including those identified as POC, LGBTQIA+, spiritual, religious, or anyone with their own unique identity. I am comfortable treating all conditions within my specialty. My focus is on those suffering from depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
My communication style
I want to get to know you, your goals for treatment, and your priorities so that I can tailor your treatment to match your needs. I deliver open, honest, non-judgmental, authentic care to every patient I work with.
My journey to therapy
My passion for mental health grew from working in the emergency department. There is such a huge need for mental health services—a need that is often overlooked. I became a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to help people realize that there is more to life and there is hope.

My approach is collaborative, with shared decision-making to address all necessary goals. It is important that you receive the support and encouragement you need to achieve your goals.

During our first session, you should expect an in-depth assessment, with the goal of better understanding you and what you want to accomplish. This enables me to deliver thoughtful and thorough care moving forward.

Daniel was incredibly warm and welcoming which allowed me the space to be honest about my mental health challenges and my goals in a safe, affirming environment. He recommended treatments, adapted those to what was working for me, and I always looked forward to our meetings. He met me where I was at in my journey, and never pushed me to do one thing or another.
