About Dr. Daniel Foitl
Dr. Foitl is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Dermapathology, as well as, the American Board of Pathology. He is a Graduate of the New York University Medical School and trained in Medicine and Pathology at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He studied Dermatology at the New York Cornell Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He is currently on the faculty of the Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Foitl is a board certified Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist.

I got messages saying I should arrive on time. I was there 20 minutes before
Filled in my forms and handed them in before my scheduled time
I then had to wait for an hour before i saw the doctor and that was a perfunctory meeting
He did listen to one of my issues and did a quick procedure
I was waiting for 60 minutes and met with the doctor for 3 minutes.
They obviously do not need more clients!

I like Dr. Foitl. He seems very knowledgeable and is polite. I've been to him a few times. My issue is on my last visit, I waited 45 minutes in the examination room before he showed up. I asked if the office was unusually busy due to the long wait. He replied "no". I wasn't happy but I got my exam and left. Yesterday I had an 11:00am appointment of which I literally ran to because I was very busy at work, but made it my 11:00am. The nurse took me to an exam room (she very nice and professional). Once again, I sat in the room for 45 minutes. I put on my clothes and left. I was angry that my time was wasted with no regard.
By comparison, I had another doctor appointment that day which had me in an exam room moments after I arrived and was being treated by the doctor within five minutes afterward. I have the same experience when I see Cornell affiliated doctors. They run on-time or darn close to it.
Dr. Foitl is very nice, but I can't tolerate having my time wasted.

An appointment with Dr. Foitl is everything you hope for with a doctor. He is patient, he is focused, he listens, his explanations are clear, and his diagnosis and treatment are spot on ( pun intended). He has resolved issues none of my prior or other doctors were able to do. The office support team is also terrific.

Everyone in the office is just so incredibly amazing. I feel like the doctor genuinely cares and does everything to help. I was interested in particular treatment and he said it’s not going to be beneficial for me because I’m too young and it will be better if we wait. Which shows he does not want you to spend money on unnecessary treatments and I truly appreciate that

Dr Foitl is very smart and kind.
He listens and doesn't leave you until he has answered all your questions and concerns .
It is rare to find a doctor with all these qualities .
Dr. Foitl is also very good with the cosmetic end of dermatology.
It's wonderful to find a dermatologist both excellent in treating diseases of the skin and great at addressing the cosmetic issues of the skin.
I highly recommend Dr Foitl and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Foitl is a great doctor! He was super easy to talk to and really took the time to explain his findings. What’s even better is that for small procedures, he will get it all done in the same appointment instead of send you home and make you come back another day. Truly efficient appointment and I really appreciate that. He provided a lot of great advice and prescribed some great meds to help my skin! Highly recommend Dr. Foitl!

Sutton Place is intimidating, but from the moment I walked in Alisa the receptionist was informative, so very polite, helpful and friendly. Already I was made at ease. The RN Marc was terrific, came to greet me and got right to work. Dr. Foitl is absolutely No. 1. He zeroed in on the issues, is a careful listener and patient. I feel he is a long-established pathologist. I kind of got the feeling he really knows what he is doing, and is also one heck of a great person. This firm is on the ball and is highly recommended.
