Dr. Golpanian completed his undergraduate education at New York University (NYU) and earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. He remained at NYP Brooklyn Methodist for his gastroenterology fellowship, receiving advanced training in the full spectrum of digestive and liver diseases.
His clinical expertise includes:
Colorectal cancer screening and prevention
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional GI disorders
Fatty liver disease and other hepatobiliary conditions
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy, and polypectomy)
