He is one of the most attentive and kind doctors I have ever been to in my life. He really genuinally cares about your well being and tries his best to find answers. He asked me very thorough questions and explainedall of his thoughts in a very detailed way. He also called for follow ups and did not rush the conversation. He’s a great doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Motola is amazing. I am so happy that I found him. I wish he could be my primary as well. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He listens to you, takes his time, and his info is spot on. Ihave been dealing with GI issues for years and have seen many. He is the first one that I put my complete trust in and the first one to actually be able to help me with one of my main issues. I am very grateful for that.

He is very persistent that my disease can only be treated with expensive pharmaceuticals and wouldn’t even listen to or open to my experiences with crohn’s. If you want drugs — he’s your guy. Don’t expect him to think outside thebox and treat you as an individual patient. He’s the type of doc that will just shove drugs on you till he finds one that works.

Dr Motola is excellent - smart, attentive and caring. I especially appreciated how he took the time to explain the lower GI system and how various processes may be contributing to or exacerbating my issues. I look forward to learning moreat my follow up in a couple of weeks.

The office staff was very pleasant to work with. I came in and they had my information from zocdoc already - they printed the info down and gave me forms to sign. Everyone was kind and accommodating. After the forms, Ididn't have to wait long before a nurse saw me to take my vitals. Not long after, Dr. Motola came and assessed me. We didn't know the cause of my pain and so he ordered a couple of tests for me to make sure it's nothing serious that's causing it. Even after the visit and the office had closed, Dr. Motola was very consistent on checking up with me and calling me to explain any updates, medications, and treatments he was going to give me. Most doctors say they will follow up and don't.. Not only did he explain on the phone, but he also had his medical assistant send me instructions on email just in case I missed anything. This was one of the best experiences I've had with a doctor and the whole office. Highly recommend!

Dr. Motola is very knowledgeable and listens to your issues and concerns without rushing you. The front desk staff is great and I probably would have been seen right away had I not been 10 minutes late. NYC traffic! I hadbeen experiencing persistent daily pain and had seen two other GI's who were not helpful at all. He listened to me and prescribed me something and the pain was gone the next day. To say that I was very happy would be an understatement.

Dr motola has been great! We’re still early in sorting out what’s going on with my stomach, but my first apt meeting him was very thorough and professional. I barely had to wait to see him, maybe 5 minutes, and evenwith that they apologized for the wait. He was able to book me for an endoscopy within a week, which was shocking to me, and after having it yesterday the entire procedure went very well. He made me feel comfortable before the procedure, and explained everything to me and my partner after about what he found and the next steps. I’m so happy I finally found a doctor who really listens to me and doesn’t just attribute everythingggg to stress
