About Dr. Daniel Silverstein
Dr. Daniel Silverstein, MD, is the founding member of Celevitae Medical. He is board certified in internal medicine and practices in Morristown, NJ. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center. He further advanced his expertise by completing a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona.
Dr. Silverstein began his career as a hospitalist. However, he wanted to go beyond treating only acute medical conditions and continued his training in integrative medicine. He utilizes both conventional diagnostic and treatment modalities as well as complementary approaches, including nutritional, herbal, and nutraceutical supplementation.
In the office setting, he treats many conditions, including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and metabolic syndrome. He also has a specific interest in the dietary management of type 2 diabetes, aiming to achieve a state of remission. The diet is generally ketogenic or calorie-restricted and is used to help reverse some of the manifestations of the disease. Guidance on medication titration is provided, with ongoing support available.

Provider sent me forms to fill out prior to my appointment. I took off of work, and set my day around this appointment by waking up at 5am to get things done prior to my appointment. He cancelled on me an hour before my appointment with a lame excuse. To make matters worse, it was Labor Day and all my family and friends were down the shore so I was stuck home because I thought I had a busy day. Unprofessional

Dr. Silverstein is a thoughtful and conscientious physician. I needed and appointment and he was available almost immediately. He’s an old fashioned healer who takes the time to listen and answer questions. At my first visit, he spent more than an hour with me and followed it up with a real e-mail with helpful dietary suggestions.
Too many doctors these days just hand out prescriptions and send you on your way. Not so with Dr. Silverstein. I highly recommend him.
