Dr. Danielle Craig, MD

Dr. Danielle Craig, MD

Psychiatrist
517 SE 2nd St, Ste B, Lee's Summit, MO
I am a psychiatrist specializing in women’s mental health, with a particular focus on the emotional and psychiatric changes that can occur throughout the reproductive stages of life. I care for women experiencing all psychiatric symptoms including depression, anxiety, OCD, insomnia, and ADHD &trauma related disorders. I have extra specialization in pregnancy and postpartum concerns, PMDD and menstrual cycle-related mood symptoms, fertility-related stress, & trauma. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and individualized. I take time to understand each patient’s symptoms, medical history, relationships, responsibilities, and personal goals rather than focusing on a diagnosis alone. When medication is appropriate, I aim to use it carefully and intentionally while considering therapy, sleep, lifestyle, hormonal changes, and other factors that may affect mental health. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions. I work closely with therapists, OB-GYNs, primary care physicians, and other members of a patient’s care team when helpful. I offer in-person care in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, as well as telehealth appointments for patients located in Missouri and Kansas.
