What should a new client know about working with you?

Please Note: I am not currently treating bipolar disorder ('manic depression') or psychotic disorders. I recommend in-person care, ideally for these conditions, or a provider who states that they do treat these conditions via the tele-health platform, if you are seeking tele-health care. I do not do Workman's Compensation or disability evaluations. I also do not do emotional support animal (ESA) or service animal letters or certifications. I do FMLA & school/work accommodation evaluations and paperwork only for established patients with a sufficient treatment relationship. I take a comprehensive and compassionate approach to partner with patients in their mental health care. My practice is rooted in a biopsychosocial approach, which considers the intricate interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors contributing to each unique individual’s well-being, offering medication management and supportive therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I partner with patients to fully understand their areas of need by offering a thorough diagnostic evaluation, in a warm, accepting, and supportive environment. I encourage open communication, and work together with patients to establish a safe and effective plan of care, utilizing behavioral interventions, medications, and supportive therapy to help patient succeed on their journeys towards their wellness goals. Please note: ADHD evaluations typically require two 90-minute initial appointments.

She was a very compassionate and competent doctor. She told me things I've never heard before, namely a diagnosis that fits me better than my previous diagnosis. She recommended that I see another doctor because I require in-person care to verify my vitas, which was a little disappointing, but I do understand her point.
