At present, he offers his expertise at the clinics of Pain Management & Wellness Dept of Anesthesiology, based in various locations in New York. Dr. Brown completed his medical degree at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Later, he completed a fellowship in pain medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside. Patients visit him for pain management consultations, follow-ups, spine stimulation, and radiofrequency blocks. He also treats headaches, migraines, and knee pain. Dr. Brown gives all his patients the attention they require. For him, patients’ health is paramount.

Dr. Brown is a great listener. He heard my concerns and offered immediate solutions. I went in for headaches I’ve had for 3 years and he gave me a treatment on the spot and ordered follow up X-rays . His assistant was also very attentive and helpful. The front office staff was friendly and checked me in right away. Short wait time was a plus!! I definitely recommend Dr. Darryl Brown for pain management treatment.

Dr. Brown listen to my concerns, gave me options to treatment. When I told him that I wasn’t comfortable with a suggestion treatment, he had a back up plan.. He made sure I understood everything and made sure that I was included in all that was suggested. He called the next day to check in.. Great doctor looking forward to working with him…

Visit with Dr. Brown was really great. I felt he listened, asked good questions, and was an empathetic provider. Would happily see him again! Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for any of the other staff in his office (Mt. Sinai affiliated). I wasn’t aware that I would require pre-authorization in order to get the prescription Dr. Brown prescribed covered. I’ve tried calling Dr. Brown’s office multiple times. Spending over 2 hours on hold total throughout the day. I can’t reach anyone to help resolve this issue. It’s very frustrating as I can’t afford the medicine without pre-approval. I tried reaching out on the Mt. Sinai app so fingers crossed I get a response with that. Overall I would say Dr. Brown seems like an excellent, empathetic provider and I’d recommend him. However, if there are any hiccups or administrative hoops to jump through pre or post appointment that you can foresee, you’re probably in for a rough ride and should look elsewhere.
