Getting to know Dr. David Cowen
I am a licensed Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist in New York and Arizona with sixteen years of experience. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University.
Before entering full-time private practice, I worked in a variety of settings, including Ascent, a long-established intensive wilderness therapy program for young adults in the Selkirk Mountain Range of the Idaho Panhandle, as well as with college and graduate students at the University of Hawaii Student Counseling Center.
Most of my clients are individuals who feel stuck or like something is blocking them as they navigate life transitions or current circumstances.
