Dr. Dies is co-director of the Liver Center at GastroIntestinal Specialists alongside fellow partner Dr. Humberto I. Aguilar. The Liver Center is the only clinic of its kind in northern Louisiana. Additionally, he serves as the medical director of Liver Transplantation at the Willis-Knighton Regional Liver Transplant Program. Dr. Dies has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. His special interests include advanced liver and biliary disease, as well as advanced ERCP procedures. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Liver Foundation, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, American Society of Transplantation, United Network for Organ Sharing, American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, and the European Association for the Study of the Liver. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Dies enjoys traveling, snow skiing, and listening to smooth jazz music.
