About Dr. David Gunther
David Gunther was born in Long Island, New York. He received a B.S. from Long Island University in Greenvale, New York before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.
His post-graduate training brought him to Texas and included a residency at the Houston Podiatric Foundation, serving as a clinical consultant for the Harris County District, and working in the Baylor College of Medicine Community Clinics.
Dr. Gunther is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. He is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is certified in ankle arthroscopy. Dr. Gunther prides himself in using all the current modalities available, including in office digital X-rays, non-invasive vascular studies, as well as the shock wave technology for heel pain.
