“I think the front desk staff were unfriendly in general. rather brusque and seemed like they were pre-occupied with eating breakfast.
the phone wait to book an appointment was 10 minutes
the XRAY machine was broken, when I made the first attempt to book an appointment 2 weeks prior.
My MD, David Boyd was stellar, thoughtful, mindful, kind, relatable and went beyond my expectations. I am glad I met a good MD. the office can use some staff education on welcoming patients warmly, who are already a bit an. ”

Wow. I’ve had great success in booking doctors thru Zocdoc, reason why I use the app to find providers. He had one of the worst bedside manners, asked me the same question multiple times (sign of not listening), he was rough in examination (went for ear pain) that may have caused more issues. There was an instant weird vibe from him. So, yeah, will not return.
Other than that, the staff were nice and friendly.

I have had some anxiety about going to doctors/gynecologists from past experiences. I was nervous to have a male gynecologist for a few reasons but I stumbled upon this practice and felt confident after reading reviews. Dr. David Boyd was so kind to me, and I explained my reservations, he explained every step of the process to me and I felt very respected and heard. I was able to get everything I needed done and my appointment was thorough and I didn’t have to wait a long time. If you have anxieties like I do, please don’t feel worried. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for Dr. Boyd and the entire staff. This experience meant the world to me, I’m really grateful to have found this place.

I don’t usually write reviews. The lack of friendly service at the Pacific Oaks Medical Group was felt as soon as I arrived. I felt treated just like another number. There was nothing throughout the entire experience that left me feeling excited about choosing this particular office.
