About Dr. David Lubetkin
VBAC friendly. Dr. David I. Lubetkin, MD, FACOG, has almost 20 years of experience as an OB/GYN in Boca Raton.
Dr. Lubetkin is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he earned his bachelor's degree, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where he received his Doctor of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center in Manhasset, NY. He has been in private practice in Boca Raton, FL, since 1996. Dr. Lubetkin has served as Chief of Staff at West Boca Medical Center and President of the Palm Beach County OB/GYN Society. He was Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boca Raton Regional Hospital from 2012 to 2014. He also serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Lubetkin is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In 2013, Dr. Lubetkin was named Obstetrics and Gynecology Preceptor of the Year by the students and faculty of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.

Dr. Lubetkin exceeded my expectations. I was very selective when choosing an OBGYN due to my type 1 diabetes. I selected him based on his credentials, but I was pleasantly surprised by his extensive personal experience with the disease and active involvement in the diabetes community. Additionally, his fantastic bedside manner made me feel comfortable and confident during my first prenatal appointment.

I went to another obgyn’s office prior to going to Dr. Lubetkin’s office and that doctor and his staff were extremely unprofessional and clueless. Dr.Lubetkin was kind, patient, compassionate and his staff were professional and friendly as well. This was my first appointment and I just felt as ease as soon as I walked in and was greeted by the front desk staff. Dr Lubetkin is an amazing, knowledgeable and caring professional. Not only he was the OB who helped me bringing my 3 daughters into this world, but also, after 15 years, my primary professional caring for my health and wellbeing.

The office staff was very courteous, the nurse that attended me was wonderful, happy and very light spirited. She was efficient with her job and double checked her work . When staff members are happy it reflects on the entire office. To me if you enjoy your job that means you have a good boss, meaning the DR.
The Dr. is always pleasant and direct to the point how he can assist me with anything additional then what I came for. He always asks if I have any questions or additional needs concerning my health.

I was very comfortable with the doctor even though I hadn’t been to a gynecologist in many years and this was my first visit. We sat and talked before the exam and he was clear in explaining my options after the thorough exam. He let me know he would be there for me when/if I had ongoing concerns re my medical problem.

Dr. Lubetkin and his staff were very friendly and helpful, as well as professional, on my very first visit to their office!
My primary care doctor is out of the immediate area, and Dr. Lubetkin took the time to ask about that practitioner as well. He has a great sense of humor too, which is always a plus in my book!
As far as referrals for any additional followups, Dr. L recommended what he would also recommend to those closest to him.

I came in to see Dr. Lubetkin to have an IUD put in. He understood exactly what I wanted and was very clear with how the insertion would go. The staff was very clear on the process of ordering the IUD and then once it is received in the office setting up another appointment to go back in.

I went to Dr. Lubetkin for my annual as he came recommended by my mother. I could not be more pleased with the experience. The front desk staff was all cheerful and expedient. I did not have to wait long at all to be seated. The doctor is very friendly and was able to do the annual very quickly with no pain. I will definitely continue going to this office for OBGYN needs and will likely choose them to deliver my baby if I get pregnant! Thanks guys!
