About Dr. David Luria
Dr. Luria's interest in vision began at a young age as a volunteer for many vision experiments at the Naval Medical Research Lab in Groton, CT. After earning his Bachelor's degree from Clark University in 1987, Optometry school was the next logical step. He graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1991.
A Dry Eye Specialist, Dr. Luria provides iLux dry eye therapy and offers NEUROLENS for computer vision syndrome and headache relief. After eight years in independent practice, he founded Eye Q Optical in 1999.
Dr. Luria prides himself on using the latest technology, including OptoMap retinal imaging. He fits custom-designed Shamir progressive lenses as well as Neurolenses. Additionally, he has been designing eyeglass frames for over a decade, and his shop features many of his unique styles.
His interests in Optometry include contact lenses, nutrition and ocular health, and dry eye management. Dr. Luria is committed to providing advanced treatments like the iLux therapy to improve his patients' eye health and comfort.
