I began my career as a mental healthcare provider by first bcoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)in 2009 working in a psychiatric long term setting hall. I found I enjoyed the patient population and my career advanced from there. I became a Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate from the University of Arizona with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner emphasis. I am driven by the needs of my patients as a person's mental health is a misunderstood and often undertreated part of our medical system.
