He's so friendly and wanted to make sure I was 100% good with my contacts before I left
He--himself--seems like a good guy. Someone you'd probably have a good time catching the game with. However, he was a terrible Dr. I told him repeatedly that the lens was foggy, he did nothing to change it; my lashes (without any makeup) were constantly in the way and I couldn't see, he didn't allow me to make an adjustment; he repeatedly told me how difficult it was to do my exam because of my over-refraction(?) and that he was exhausted from doing it. They also gave me a contact lens holder that has NO COVER to hold my contacts in while we tested my eyes, and it became gross by the time I was putting them back in. I took all of this in stride--again--because he seems like a good guy. HOWEVER, the nail in the coffin was when he gave me a replacement test for the costly one they offer that I'd refused upon arriving. He never indicated that with this one, he'd be dilating my pupils. He should have asked me beforehand if that would be ok. Instead, he dilated my pupils and let me drive home 40 minutes north IN THE DARK AND RAIN after we REPEATEDLY discussed how poor my vision is AND how my NIGHT VISION IS EVEN WORSE. I canceled my order for glasses the following day and forgot to get my Rx, but had to call 3 times before they would email it. I will NEVER go back there. Plus, the neighborhood is skeevy and there were spiders and ants crawling on my registration forms.
Very thorough and friendly

Great group and Doc.
I'm been going to Dr Popper for years, highly recommend him and this office.
I thought it was very personable for the front desk clerks to address me by my first name and to have previously ressrch my insurance company prior to my arrival instead of waiting till I got there. The clerical staff also greeted me and made me feel like I was in the right place. Dr. Popper and the technician handled me with great care and explained the entire prices.
Amazing. Made me feel cared for.

The staff is very welcoming and professional. The doctor and assistants take their time to explain everything.
I absolutely love this office. They are very personable and much better than some of those popular eye glass places. The doctor is knowledgable and has great bedside manner.
I felt the dr and everyone in the office was very professional and courteous
Excellent service, but wait for first time customer was extremely long.
The office staff was very friendly and professional. I really liked how they called the day before to verify my insurance so that there would be no issues the day of my visit. I also liked how they directed me to look at all the glass frames while I waited; that helped to save time. The wait time was very short (less than 30 minutes). I also liked how Joel explained everything that my insurance was covering. He was very accommodating and helpful. Dr. Popper was also friendly and professional. I liked that he answered my questions and even wrote down some of the terms so I can look further into them. I will continue to visit this Eye doctor and office each year.
All of the office staff are very friendly, I am glad I chose Dr. Popper as my practicioner.
Friendly Staff, very professional, exceptional Doctor. Would recommended it a 100 times. --MM
I had a great experience. His staff is awesome, courteous and professional in every way.
Excellent and the staff was great
My visit to this office was very GREAT. The personal at the front desk, to the assistant and the doctor himself. I was very please.
it was great
Dr. Popper is an amazing eye doctor! I'm not the easiest patient due to my extremely dry eyes, but he did not hesitate to take his time with me and make sure I was comfortable before I left. He really cared about my honest opinion on the different contact lenses we tried and if I was not 100% sure, he wouldn't give up! Office is super clean and friendly, I would definitely recommend him! Did I mention how patient he is?
Fantastic, thorough and informative. Loved Dr Popper.
I don't like doctors or hospitals but I would definitely recommend Dr. Popper to anyone and everyone. The doctor made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. His staff is VERY professional, kind and knowledgeable. It didn't take very long to be seen by the doctor. But I did show up 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I will be returning to Dr. Popper office with my family.
