About Dr. David Roffwarg

Dr. David Roffwarg grew up in Atlanta, GA, and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Georgia in 2006. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, where he was elected to the AOA National Honor Society. Following medical school, Dr. Roffwarg completed his residency in dermatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he served as chief resident during his final year. After spending several years practicing in the Atlanta area, he now rejoins Cumberland Skin where his professional interests include medical and surgical dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

I thought Doctor Zoffwarg was a friendly man in general, but most of the staff there was rude. Also, the doctor seemed to be in a rush. I will not be taking the oral or topical medication he prescribed me. I took half a pill as instructed, and almost needed a hospital because my issues relating to my blind eye, which he knew about, flared up. I thought maybe it wasn't the pill, so the next day I take the other half, same thing happened, except accompanied by nausea. So for two days in a row, I thought I needed a hospital. The next day, which is today, I haven't taken any of the pill, and I'm feeling much better. I'm still recovering from the issue because I woke up with a headache, but I'm feeling better. As for the topical cream, I have chemical burn all over my face and back because it was too strong, but the doctor didn't even think about putting me on a lighter topical cream first, just straight to the strongest stuff. My skin was peeling and burning. I'll treat my acne myself
