What should a new client know about working with you?

You will immediately know that my approach is calm, supportive, and collaborative. During your visit, I take time to understand your concerns, symptoms, history, current stressors, goals, and previous treatment experiences before making recommendations. Care may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, education, supportive therapy, and practical lifestyle guidance when appropriate. We will work together to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs, values, and daily life, so you can better understand your options and feel more confident in your path toward wellness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process begins with listening and understanding your story. During the first visit, we will review your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, family history, lifestyle, stressors, and treatment goals. This helps me better understand what may be contributing to your symptoms and develop an accurate diagnostic impression. After the evaluation, we will discuss treatment options together. Depending on your needs, care may include medication management, education about your diagnosis, supportive therapy, coping strategies, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals when appropriate. I do provide supportive therapy as part of visits, while also focusing on safe and effective psychiatric medication management when medication is needed. Follow-up sessions are used to check your progress, review how you are feeling, monitor medication benefits or side effects, adjust the treatment plan if needed, and continue supporting your overall wellness. My goal is for each session to feel collaborative, respectful, and focused on helping you move toward stability, clarity, and healing.
