Getting to know Dayanna Dias
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I earned my Bachelor's degree from Oral Roberts University and completed my Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, at the University of South Alabama. Additionally, I participated in a fellowship with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. My background includes experience in emergency room settings, adult psychiatric inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, geriatric inpatient hospitals, and eating disorder inpatient and outpatient clinics.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Working in an emergency room made me aware of the gap between mind and body, which made me interested in pursuing psychiatry in various areas. My diverse experience has given me essential skills to treat a variety of diagnoses and focus on integrative treatment for a whole person.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I believe in treating the whole person, addressing all aspects of the patient, including physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental.

My experience was terrible! The doctor did not appear in the appointment and she is not working in the local that she is indicate in zocdoc. I am disappointed with it!
