A proud graduate of the highly ranked Alderson-Broaddus University PA program in West Virginia, Debra began her medical career in Family Medicine at Homestead Air Force Base in Florida during the Gulf War era. She has since accumulated over 28 years of diverse experience in both medical and surgical specialties, including primary care, acute care, cardiology, general and vascular surgery, and vein disorder treatment. With 14 years of military service, including her current role in the Air National Guard, Debra is no stranger to commitment, leadership, and resilience. Prior to joining OnePeak Medical, she lived and practiced in Fairbanks, Alaska, for 23 years where she also raised her family before relocating to Central Oregon. Debra’s greatest joy in medicine comes from building partnerships with patients who are ready to take an active role in their health. After years of treating chronic and late-stage disease, she is excited to focus on helping patients feel better, live longer, and optimize their wellness through a more holistic, preventative approach to care. Outside the clinic, you’ll find Debra embracing the outdoors, mountain biking, running, cross-country skiing, or relaxing with a good book.
