About Denise Chandler
My mission as an advanced practice registered nurse is to provide competent and compassionate care to every patient. I will be compassionate, and considerate to people of all backgrounds and ethnicity.
My goal is to educate my patients so they can make educated decisions and choices. I will offer time to my patients and have follow-up sessions with them to ensure their success. Every time I meet with a patient, I hope they will not be hesitant to stop me during a conversation to ask for clarification. I will also tell my patients to feel free to email me with questions.
I have experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner in women's health care for over 10 years. I have treated Weight Loss, Mental Health, and many conditions. I have taught nursing in state colleges and universities. I precepted many Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and medical residents.
I graduated from Lake-Sumter State College with an Associate of Science in nursing and an Associate of Arts degree. I went on to the University of Central Florida for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have a Master of Science in Nursing/Education/Healthcare from University of Phoenix. I also have a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitoner from the University of Cincinnati.
I completed a certificate program in psychiatric mental health from Wilmington University. I am certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners for family practice and psychiatric mental health practice.
I completed training for the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners for DOT physicals.
I have completed training in Aestetics through Empire Medical, Mint, Xmedica, and Palette Workshops. I am a member of Empire and have continuous training. I have completed training for Paxel Plasma Thermal and Cold Plasma treatments.
