About Dr. Dhruv Markan
Dhruv Markan, MD, attended Shri B. M. Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in Vijayapura, Karnataka, India, earning his medical degree in 2011. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency through Georgetown University’s MedStar Health program in 2023. Dr. Markan joined Kelsey-Seybold as an Internal Medicine physician in July 2025.
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Markan provides primary care for adults. He is dedicated to treating the whole patient, considering physical, emotional, and mental health needs. In addition to preventive and wellness care, Dr. Markan manages acute illnesses and injuries as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
