Getting to know Diana Lankenau
Diana Lankenau graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Psychology and University of Miami Bachelors in Nursing. She has a Masters degree in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specialty Certificate and Nursing Education Certificate. She is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).
My approach
She has proudly served the community by providing nursing services to children in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Has worked in palliative care, psychiatric crisis stabilization; forensic nursing (jails, State and Federal prisons). Working in these settings has improved her skills in providing appropriate care to people in need of mental health services. She is compassionate, she listens to her patients and is very passionate about mental health advocacy.
My focus
She is experienced in diagnosis and treatment of children and adults who suffer from mental health disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, autism, anxiety, depression, insomnia, post traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Most relevant
Never received an email to join the video call as I was told I would. Called the office at time of appointment. No answer. Contacted zocdoc & they couldn’t get ahold of the provider either. Received notification 2 hours AFTER my appointment they cancelled. Waste of time!!! See someone else please.

It seemed like she was in a rush to get rid of me and gave me a prescription on what she thinks I needed. Terrible listener and would interrupt as I was speaking. She compared me to other patients that she had in the past with similar issues, but does not consider your opinion because of her previous patients.
