Diana Wells is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL. She practiced as a Registered Nurse for three years, focusing on behavioral and mental health. During this time, she gained extensive knowledge in mental health disorders and emergency medicine before advancing her career as an Advanced Practice Nurse with a specialty in psychiatry. Diana completed her Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Walden University. Her practicum and residency experiences were in inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings. She completed her residency at UChicago Medicine (Ingalls Memorial Health), Amita Health/Alexian Brothers, Family Christian Health Center, and Alay Health Team in Wisconsin. With over eight years of combined experience in behavioral and mental health, she enjoys practicing the full scope of behavioral health medicine and works well with patients and their families. She is deeply dedicated to providing quality clinical care across the lifespan and values holistic, collaborative, and integrative care approaches.
Born and raised in West Africa—Ghana and Nigeria—Diana moved to the United States to pursue her education in healthcare. Her interest in mental health began in Nigeria, where she witnessed the primitive and historical beliefs surrounding mental disorders and the quality of care provided to individuals affected by them. This inspired her to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of mental disorders to provide quality care, education, and advocacy for clients and their families.
In her spare time, Diana enjoys family time, cooking, dancing, designing, and outdoor activities.

The empty star is mostly because of the patient portal and the process in which the company runs. Maybe I personally just don't understand how things work there. Regardless, I've never in so many years, had so many problems each month. I think it would help me if the options in the portal had more suggestions / direction on where best to direct issues. Also, maybe don't overload your psychiatrists so they can spend quality time on their patients. "Communication is key" right.

I love my doctor and therapist. It has been a pleasant experience dealing with LifeStance. Their website is easy to use to send a message and pay your bill. I would recommend LifeStance. I had to find a new psychiatrist due to me getting a new job. I am? out of one medication and need a refill and will not assist me with any help until she got my prior medication records . I said I had all my old medications in a bag for a situation like this. Told me she would help help me until she got that from my dr even though I had the information I can give to her. So now I have to go without medication which is something you should not just stop taking . Horrible experience I was in tears by the end of the call because she provided me with no help
