About Dr. Diane DiCarlo
Dr. Diane A. DiCarlo, DAc., LAc., LMT. Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM) has been working in the field of holistic healing for almost 20 Years. Her path began with the study and formal training in Reiki, culminating in receipt of her third degree, and Master/Teacher Certification.
In 2009, Diane expanded her holistic education through the completion of her Associates degree in Occupational Studies and received her New York State license in Massage Therapy where she focused on Chronic Pain Management and Acute Soft Tissue Injury Care.
While working in the massage field, Diane was inspired to further her education so she could bring together a more effective treatment for her clients. Treating them as an individual, not as a text book symptom
In 2016 Diane completed her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Masters of Science in Acupuncture. With that, the dream of creating a healing center that address the “whole” person, tailoring the treatments to each individual. ..And Shen Balance was born
Treating the whole person - Body, Mind and Spirit is a philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM offers a healing method thousands of years old. As an Acupuncturist & Massage Therapist she is all too aware of the part of the emotional body plays in our illnesses as well as our healing.
She is certified by and a member in good standing with the National Guild of Hypnotists, and studied under Kelly Tallaksen, Board Certified Hypnotist and guest author of "The Art of Spiritual Hypnosis, Accessing Divine Wisdom" by C. Roy Heentes. Hypnosis is an amazing tool assisting with the removal of blockages open the self-up to love's awareness which is where all healing begins.
Additionally, Diane has had the good fortune to attend classes with Brian L. Weiss M.D., and author of “Many Lives, Many Masters” and “Mirrors of Time" (to name a few) in the exciting study of Past life Regression Therapy.

She always takes the time to listen, makes you feel completely comfortable, and genuinely cares about how you’re feeling. I would definitely recommend to see Diane. I’ve been seeing her for about a year now and I’ve noticed many improvements not only physical but mentally too. She’s also helping me get prepared for a jaw surgery. Can’t recommend her enough 10/10

Dr. DiCarlo is very professional and prompt. The treatment room is calm and soothing. An environment of healing allowed me be able to relax and be in the frame of mind to heal. Dr. DiCarlo is very knowledgeable and insightful! Prices are reasonable and I am looking forward to my next treatment!

I can’t say enough good things about Diane! She is absolutely amazing and makes you feel so comfortable from the second you walk in. I’ve done both acupuncture and biofeedback with her, and every single time I leave feeling SO relaxed and completely zen. Diane is so knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about helping you feel your best. I always look forward to my appointments with her and would recommend her to anyone!

Diane is highly professional with a gift to heal. After each visit I felt improvement.
I lierally watch the inflammation in my neck dissolve. I felt well enough to fly on a plane not afraid of the pain I had before. Diane gave sound excellent advice all around helping me feel better.

I broke my wrist 4 weeks ago and was lucky enough to find Dr. Diane DiCarlo. Went in today for an X-ray and the orthopedic doctor was literally shocked at how fast my bone had healed.

I have been seeing Diane for about 5 years for my menieres disease, as well as any ailements that pop up along the way- she is so knowedgeable and i feel that she really knows her stuff! And she frequently comes back with new research or knowledge to share. Everytime i leave the office i leave feeling better. She is wonderful at accomodating schedules. Honestly she is a huhe part of my health and well-being and i have recommended her to many family and friends.
