Dr. Langenbeck attended the residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Louisiana State University School of Medicine/Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Langenbeck’s interests included sports medicine. He was appointed as team physician to serve New Orleans area high schools and the New Orleans Night of the Arena Football League. Dr. Langenbeck completed the program and was board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1994. Dr. Langenbeck was the founding executive editor of Rehab in Review published at Louisiana State University and later at Harvard Medical School.
