“I have been dealing with persistent forearm pain for quite some time, without fully realizing how much I had been compensating for it in my daily life. During my first acupuncture session, as soon as the low-frequency electric pulse machine was applied, I became acutely aware of the extent of my discomfort and how long I had been enduring it. Within the first ten minutes, I was genuinely moved to tears by the significant relief I experienced. About Dr. Dong Seon Yoo
Dr. Noah Dong Seon Yoo is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in the State of California since 2011. He graduated from the Pharmacy College at Chung Ang University in South Korea. During his college years, he developed a strong interest in Korean medicine and was a founding member of the Korean Traditional Medicine Club at his university. After graduation, Dr. Noah focused on studying Korean and Oriental medicine, especially the Korean Sasang constitutional body type theory. Driven by his passion to share the excellence of Oriental medicine, he moved to the USA and earned both his master’s degree and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) at CIIS in San Francisco. Dr. Noah specializes in pain management and internal medicine.
He has had the opportunity to learn from many gifted Oriental masters and professors, gaining valuable wisdom on how to view each individual and guide them from imbalance to balance (from pathosis to eucrasia). Oriental medicine studies how to help people adapt to their natural and social environments by nourishing and treating both body and mind. To achieve this goal, Dr. Noah offers various modalities such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, supplements, moxibustion, sports medicine, and other Oriental therapies. With extensive experience in both Western and Eastern medicine, he has served the Bay Area community for many years.
Dr. Noah actively participates in acupuncture associations to promote his profession and share his expertise. He is a current member of the Association of Korean Asian Medicine & Acupuncture of California (AKAMAC), the Society of Sports Korean Medicine, and the American Integrative Medicine Institute.
