I am an Oregon-licensed acupuncturist with more than 18 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), clinical practice, education, and research. I currently serve as Associate Dean of the College of Classical Chinese Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), where I help train future generations of Chinese medicine practitioners. I hold a Doctor of Education from Johns Hopkins University and am board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). My approach combines the time-honored wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern clinical evidence. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take time to understand your overall health, lifestyle, and personal goals so we can develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. I commonly help patients with chronic pain, neck and back pain, headaches, sports injuries, stress, anxiety, insomnia, digestive disorders, women's health, and other chronic health conditions. Treatments may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, lifestyle recommendations, and collaboration with other healthcare providers when appropriate. My practice is located within Thistle Sports Chiropractic Clinic, where I work alongside chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, integrative care. This collaborative environment allows us to support patients with a comprehensive approach to healing and long-term wellness.
