My communication style is a combination of functional (enjoy details, timelines & well thought out plans) and personal (value relationships and connections). My journey to mental healthcare I became acutely aware of the impact of chronic disease on mental health while working in a Cardiology clinic. These conditions can interact, affecting symptoms and health outcomes. I decided to obtain certification to better address patient needs realizing that treating them together is often more effective. My goals for you Work together to formulate an individualized, reasonable, and achievable path toward what you want to change in your life. My goal as your provider is to help you identify potential challenges and develop strategies to overcome them, to increase motivation, direct efforts and focus. My first session with you Respect - Active Listening – Validating Concerns – Clarity. At the end of your first visit I want you to have a sense of empowerment and confidence in your mental health journey.
