Donna's passion for helping people with mental health issues and disorders drove her to seek more advanced training and in 2022 she became a board-certified PMHNP. Donna has a holistic style in approach in that a whole person includes physical, mental, spiritual, cultural, and social components. MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. New Jersey law requires an in-person session for the initial prescription of controlled substances and at least one in-person session every three months to continue receiving them.
