Dona Ingram is a warm and conscientious cardiologist providing excellent care to her patients in New York City. Dr. Ingram is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to treat cardiovascular disease. Her main medical focus is on preventative cardiology. Dr. Ingram is affiliated with the Mount Sinai Hospital and a staff member at the Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Ingram began her medical education at the New York Medical College. She then completed her medical internship and internal medicine residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Ingram completed her cardiology fellowship with the New York Hospital at the Cornell Medical Center in 1996.

Dr. Ingram was friendly and attentive. Her staff at the end of the day seemed in a rush to leave, which I understand. Her medical assistant was super cold and made me uncomfortable. She didn’t leave the room when I had to change for the EKG. She was in a rush to leave and I felt like a burden on her because of all of her deep sighing when she couldn’t get my blood pressure. Anyway, I felt terrible and anxious and wish that she wasn’t who I saw before seeing Dr. Ingram because it takes away from how I felt going into the appointment which was already stressed.
