About Dr. Donna Ward

Donna Ward, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing general dermatology to both adults and children as well as cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She has been practicing in Northwest Indiana for over 18 years. Dr. Ward studied medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where she received the American Medical Women’s Association Award to Female Medical Students of Scholastic Achievement. After receiving her doctorate in medicine, Dr. Ward completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University followed by a residency in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Ward received a bachelors of science in biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she was also awarded a Howard Hughes Life Sciences Fellowship. Dr. Ward is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is published in the Journal of Photodermatology, Photoimmunology, and Photomedicine. She has presented at the American Academy of Dermatology poster sessions as well as the Michigan Dermatological Society Meeting. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr Ward is very nice an makes you feel very comfortable which is really important to me. The whole staff was helpful and welcoming. I would say this was the best experience I've had during a doctors visit.
Everyone in this office was wonderful. Very pleasant but the wait was ridiculous. My appointment was at 10 don’t get into the back room until 11 and the doctor didn’t come in until 11:05. Other than that the the visit was ok.
Dr Ward was very nice had a great spirit and was very in tune with what I was looking for and a doctor and Dermatologist. I’ve already recommended two people and I can’t wait to see my results from her treatment.

Was very happy with my exam. It was thorough and all my questions were answered. I especially liked having a cloth gown instead of a paper gown because they always tear. Room temperature was also comfortable. Dr. Ward was great!
