“My experience in Dr. Appel's office was so pleasant. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Brittany, the tech, was delightful and familiar with me, so that we had a lovely time reuniting. Dr. Appel was friendly, kind and informative. He initiated the process of preparing orthotic inserts for my shoes and gave me very helpful information. My mission was accomplished in a very comfortable setting. We all had a relaxed exchange that I sincerely appreciate. I look forward to returning for my orthotics!

About Dr. Douglas Appel
Dr. Appel is a podiatric surgeon dual board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) . He received his undergraduate degree at Lafayette College in Easton, PA and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Appel completed his residency training at Morristown Medical Center, Atlantic Health System in northern NJ. Dr. Appel specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot and ankle disorders and has a particular interest in bunions, hammertoes, acute fractures of the foot and ankle, sports related injuries, foot and ankle arthritis, ankle arthroscopy, wound care, diabetic foot care, and all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Appel also specializes in wound care and limb salvage and is on staff at the Virtua Willingboro Wound Care Center.
