I never feel like he talks down to me and so it’s always a pleasant experience. Even the nurse who did all the prep before seeing Dr Bailyn was lovely. There’s a reason why he’s been my primary physician for the last 10+ years even after moving out of the area!”

About Dr. Douglas Bailyn
**Please expect a call from the office after making an appointment.**
We offer both virtual and in-person visits Monday through Friday. Testing for active COVID-19 infections is not available in our office. If you believe you have COVID-19 and wish to be tested, please seek testing elsewhere. All patients and visitors arriving at the office are required to wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing. Only scheduled patients will be seen; no walk-ins are permitted. Staff will be wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
Dr. Bailyn attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center and his fellowship in Nephrology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Bailyn's resume is as eclectic as his practice. While attending Rutgers University, he worked with developmentally disabled adults. Upon graduation, he moved to New York City, where he helped establish one of four pilot housing sites for the homeless mentally ill. During medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he began to focus his academic interests on primary care medicine. During his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC, he took time off to conduct basic science research in the lab of Dr. Victor Schuster, Chair of Internal Medicine.
