Great doctor, thorough, friendly and answered all my concerns

I tend to form impressions based on my first visit, and I was already feeling a bit apprehensive about seeing a rheumatologist. While I understand that new patient appointments involve a lot of documentation, the physician spent much of the visit typing, with only a few questions for me. Although he performed a physical exam, the overall interaction felt a bit impersonal. I didn’t feel entirely comfortable or connected, which made it difficult to bring up everything I wanted to discuss. I’ve decided to continue my search for a rheumatologist within my health system rather than through Zocdoc.

The doctor was very dismissive. The appointment lasted about 15 minutes after waiting a month and a half for the appointment.

All in all, my experience was a good one. My one frustration was the wait and poor management of scheduling/office traffic. Dr. Mund was very attentive and focused during our appointment, and did an excellent job sifting through my reported symptoms and assessing my joint and muscle function. He arrived at an initial diagnosis that made sense and proposed a logical care plan. I would Dr. Mund as a provider.
