About Dr. Ebony Johnson
Ebony Johnson, MD, MHA, provides the full spectrum of medical care to all ages and engages a diverse group of patients with her personal work ethic and community bonds.
Some of Dr. Johnson's special clinical interests include asthma, COPD and women's health. Of particular interest is adolescent medicine and the unique health issues related to this, including medical, social and sexual health advice and treatment. She attributes her interest in family medicine to her upbringing in a large, close family, and makes it a priority to know her patients, not just their ailments.
A former college athlete and athletic trainer, she remains active in volunteer work with first generation college students. She enjoys all sports, but in particular, running, cycling and weight training.

Provider was not a great listener and she makes her own conclusion of your disease state even when you tell her otherwise. I also work in healthcare I know how things can be sometimes. I was a very patient with her but I was a little frustrated during my consultation. I hope she can make her patient feel more welcome and be a great listener in future. I don’t think I would ever go back to her again.

Didn’t consider my needs. I explained what goals I was working on and she only focused on weight loss. I told her information I did not what for myself such as “Weight loss goals” and she ignored it and put it as my next steps. Very disappointed in her treatment and I didn’t feel heard or seen. She just wants to move people
through the building fast and doesn’t care about developing a health plan with you. It was harmful and I won’t be back.

I was greeted with friendly smiles the moment I walked through the door. The friendly front desk worker checked me in right away, and I only sat for less then 5 mins before my name was called right on time for my appointment. I’d arrived a few minutes early, expecting to fill out a bunch of paperwork, since this was my first time visiting, only to be surprised with and dr’s assistant, asking me all the questions and filling out the forms electronically. After taking my blood pressure, weight, temperature and oxygen level, the assistant informed me the doctor would be right in shortly. 2 mins later, Dr. Ebony arrived and spent quality time examining me and gathering all the information regarding my visit. She was engaging, funny and thoughtful with her bedside manner. I walked away feeling like we had a game plan towards getting the test done to answer and/or eliminate issues that I have. I plan to make Dr. Ebony my primary care doctor for years to come and I recommended my daughter.

No wait time, staff was professional. I was suprised that I saw the actual doctor and not a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. The doctor was sort of dismissive, but we got it together real quick. Overall, the environment was professional.

Very clean office friendly staff 5 minutes wait for appointment scheduled. Doctor very thorough very clear with diagnosis and suggestions for future. Haven’t seen any doctors in almost 10 years because I am fairly healthy no illness. Overall would recommend Dr. Johnson and will go back for future check ups.
