What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in medication management. I offer my patients telehealth visits via the HIPAA complaint website, Spruce. What is Psychiatric Medication Management? Psychiatric medication management is when a psychiatrist ensures your mental health meds are safe and effective. They assess your needs, prescribe medication, check how you're doing, and adjust as needed. How is it different from therapy? Therapy is talking through thoughts and feelings with a mental health pro to learn coping strategies. Looking forward to being part of your journey to mental wellness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you book your appointment through Zocdoc, one of our Client Navigators will reach out via SMS message to confirm with you about the next needed steps, which include downloading our communication platform 'Spruce', filling out our intake package (questions for us to get to know more about you so we can prepare for your session), and gathering logistical information such as insurance. During our first session, my goal is to get a good understanding of what brings you to treatment. I will have questions along the way to help me learn about you, your values, preferences, and your current struggles. Together, we will weigh the risks and benefits of various medication management treatments and develop a personalized plan that best suits your individual needs. I, alongside our care team, will be there for you every step of the way. Book your appointment today, and let's get your journey started.
