About Dr. Edmund Nahm
Edmund A. Nahm, MD, who resides nearby in downtown Manhattan, received his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, attended the postbaccalaureate premedical program at Columbia University in New York, and then received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, NJ. He is licensed to practice in New York.
His research credentials are impressive, including several years at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he designed a unique Comprehensive Cochlear Implant Questionnaire (CCIQ), a validated quality of life (QOL) instrument assessing bilateral cochlear implants. A recipient of the 2017 Hugh F. Biller Research Award, he has been published widely and has given a multitude of presentations in his fields of expertise.
