He continued his education at Miami Dade College to become a Registered Nurse, was promoted to Charge Nurse at Mercy Hospital, and served there approximately seven years while completing his Master's degree in nursing.
It was at Mercy Hospital that Eddy met Dr. Gregory Alfred and first learned about hyperbaric medicine — particularly its role in treating divers' decompression sickness and carbon monoxide poisoning. He joined Hyperbaric Medical Solutions in 2023 to work alongside Dr. Alfred.
