About Dr. Edwin Gunn
Dr. Edwin “Cory” Gunn is a Georgia native. He grew up in Canton, Georgia with family and friends in the Lawrenceville area. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Microbiology, and later went on to study Medicine at Mercer University in Savannah, Georgia.
Dr. Gunn completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina where he also went on to serve as the Chief Resident. Finally, he completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Gunn has special interest in Interstitial Lung Disease, Sarcoidosis, Lung Cancer, Endobronchial Ultrasound, Navigation Bronchoscopy, and Critical Care Echocardiography.
Dr. Gunn has many interests outside of medicine. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and 2 dogs (both Llewelyn English Setters). He is an avid outdoorsman who likes to hike, camp, and explore U.S. national parks in his free time. He is a sports fanatic with particular interest in the Georgia Bulldogs and Minnesota Vikings.

He took the time to thoroughly review my records. Discussed in details my ongoing symptoms and health concerns. He made a diagnosis and ordered some additional tests to rule out any other health concerns. I finally got a diagnosis that I have been chasing for years! I highly recommend Dr. Gunn.
