Getting to know Dr. Edyta Pedlowska
Hello, I am Edyta Pedlowska, DNP, FNP-C, ENP-C, PMHNP-BC, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner fluent in both English and Polish. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University Tempe Campus, completed my Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Wilkes University, and hold a Bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University. With expertise in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health conditions, I bring a well-rounded approach to care, drawing from my background in primary, emergency, and psychiatric medicine.
As a triple-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I take a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to mental health. Currently, I am a fellow of the Psychiatry Redefined Integrative and Functional Psychiatry Fellowship, where I focus on identifying the root causes of mental health concerns and ensuring that any underlying medical conditions are considered in the diagnostic process.
I create personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's biochemistry, genetics, lifestyle, and environment. My approach incorporates a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychopharmacological management, to provide evidence-based, holistic care.
Above all, I believe in a collaborative approach, where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their journey toward better mental health. My goal is to foster lasting, meaningful change, and I encourage anyone struggling to take that first courageous step toward healing.
