About Dr. Eleni Persefone Karakosta

Persefone Karakosta is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and a New York Licensed Acupuncturist. She earned her Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in New York. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor's degree from University Arts London. She has gained practice experience working with patients from diverse populations, presenting a wide variety of conditions, at the Veterans Affairs hospital, the Institute for Family Health-working with women with disabilities-and at Housing Works Community Healthcare Center, supporting adults with HIV/AIDS in behavioral health and substance use. Persefone is the founder of Innate Wisdom Wellness, based in Brooklyn, New York, dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care in treating a broad range of health issues and medical conditions, including acute or chronic pain, immune support, reproductive health, respiratory issues, digestive conditions, mental and emotional wellness, and autoimmune conditions. Her philosophy is that to achieve optimal health, we must first achieve a balance of mind, body, and spirit.
