“I had a really great experience with this eye doctor. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and very organized. The office was clean, the wait time was minimal, and everything felt very efficient.
The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my eye health and prescription. I never felt rushed during the appointment, and all of my questions were answered thoroughly. What really stood out to me was how patient and attentive the doctor was—it felt like they genuinely cared about providing the best care possible.
Overall, the entire visit was smooth and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring eye doctor. I will definitely be returning for my future eye exams

About Dr. Elizabeth Covington
Undergraduate Education: Berry College (Rome, GA) BS biology minor in chemistry. Optometry School: University of Alabama at Birmingham 2009. Professional Achievements and Associations: American optometric association; Georgia optometric association. The reason I became an optometrist is: I decided on optometry at an early age in high school. I enjoyed science and got glasses/contacts at that time which sparked my own interest. I was taking a careers elective in high school and was able to shadow a local optometrist for the day. I was hooked from then on. I enjoyed the interaction with people plus the joy it brings people to see their very best for sometimes the first time. My favorite part of helping my patients is: Seeing them back year after year and the relationship that is built over time. I have seen children grow up and new additions to families and giving them their best sight brings a lot of joy for me. In my spare time, I enjoy: I have two daughters ,8 and 6, and we enjoy time together bike riding, hiking, and swimming. I also enjoy quality time with my family and close friends.
